Poultry Meeting Set in Beaverhead County

Grade School Hoop Tourney Set for Saturday
Four teams Dillon Lima Twin Bridges and Montana State Orphans Home compete Saturday March 2 for the fifth annual Southwestern Montana Grade School tournament. Sponsored by the local P T A the event is at the high school gym with 25 cent admission for both sessions or 15 cents for a single session. Afternoon games start at 2 and evening games at 8. Mining deal alters Bannack group. Honska owners sell stake
With the exception of C W Stallings all owners of the Bob Honska Mining Co at Bannack have sold interests to Joe Knight and Thomas Copeland Chicago mining engineers. The mine closed Monday and the mill will be shut for overhaul as new machinery and repairs are installed. Reopening is expected in about ten days with a larger crew. F W Farnsworth of Cincinnati a director of American Brass and Stallings have taken a lease and bond on the Spot Gibson property adjoining the Honska and paid a substantial down payment.

Rev. Lechner Hurt In Car Accident Near Moose Creek
The Rev. F. X. Lechner of St. Rose church was a Barrett hospital patient with a broken shoulder and severe bruises after a sedan ran off the Butte-Dillon highway at Moose Creek hill last Friday evening. He was alone, the car rolled at least twice, and a passerby freed him after about an hour. His condition today was reported favorable.

Mrs. Martha Thompson of Bannack died Monday evening at her daughter's home west of the city after a protracted illness. Born in Galena Illinois 73 years ago she came to Montana in 1884 locating at Bannack and later moved to Dillon 17 years ago. Survived by five sons and several daughters including Mrs. George Nichols of Salmon and Mrs. Burrell of Dillon, funeral to be held at 2 this afternoon at Brunadge chapel with Rev J A Meeke officiating.
