Jury finds Bucy guilty in hay stack arson case
M. W. Bucy was found guilty in district court of wilful destruction of property for burning hay stacks in Centennial valley in November 1929. The jury recommended four years in the state prison after a trial that drew large crowds and many witnesses. Bucy claimed alibi and testified he was in Idaho Falls during the act.

Old Home Resident of Dillon Dies at Warm Springs
William Wynn, long-time resident of the Blacktail district and pioneer settler, died Wednesday night after a brief illness at Warm Springs. He was about 70 and is survived by a brother Tom Flynn and nephews Pat and Hugh Flynn. The body was brought to Dillon for burial and a requiem high mass was held at St Rose Catholic Church.

Charity Drive Aids 76 Families in City Outreach
From November 1 1981 to February 1 1982 Dillon's Associated Charities extended aid to 76 families and 1 824 individuals received groceries or coal. 31 persons found work and clothing was supplied to many. Total receipts were 625 25 with expenses totaling 570 20 leaving a balance of 82 05.

Junior High presented a Washington bi centennial program with an 2:80 pm assembly in the old training school auditorium.
