President Tyree Arrested In Salt Lake City Falsifying Claims
Hiram Tyree president of the Continental Life Insurance and Investment company was arrested on a charge of falsifying company records. Bond set at 5000 dollars for Tyree and 500 for secretary Cameron C Wylie. Officials from the Secretary of State and Bank Examiner Glazier prepared to thoroughly examine the books and accounts of the firm.

Argenta District to be Opened for Development in Beaverhead County
A syndicate of Butte investors led by John F. Cowan and partners will prove Argenta’s mineral value west of Dillon. They have taken over the Iron Mountain, Magnolia, and Little Whale mines and added 18 claims, with copper and silver shows including a 40 foot vein. Mining will start after cleanup and tunnel work begins.
