Former Dillon Teacher Dies at Home in Basin
Miss Angie M. Balmer died at her Basin Montana home January 22 after a several week illness. She taught in Basin grade schools for 18 years and attended the Dillon Normal College summer sessions for over a decade. Born in Boone Iowa she lived in Kansas before moving to Montana in 1909. She is survived by two sisters and two brothers. Mr and Mrs Thomas G Hawkins and relatives visited from Butte.

Beaverhead High Sends Large Delegation to State Vocational Congress
Beaverhead county high school reported one of the largest delegations at the State Boys Vocational Congress in Bozeman. Over 1,200 boys registered. Theft of Dillon Car Leads to Romantic Arrests

Ranch Deal Seals Sale Of Lasich Ranch North Of Town
A major real estate sale completed this morning transfers the Lasich ranch of about 400 acres eight miles north of town plus stock machinery and buildings to Jacob Steve and Joseph Skender of Butte. Possession is immediate and Mrs Lasich plans to move to Tacoma with her daughter Mrs Mary Gooding.

Ranchman John Carroll Kicked by Horse In Upper Big Hole

Death summons a Dillon resident Mrs Nancy Linson
Mrs Nancy Elizabeth Linson of Dillon died Saturday evening at the Grand hotel after weeks of illness. Born March 10 1803 in Peoria Illinois she was married to George C Linson at 17 and had twelve children. Survived by her husband three daughters five sons and many relatives. Funeral services were held at Brundage chapel and the body was shipped to Atlanta Missouri for burial.

Spring crackdown on vagrants nets multiple arrests
