Boise to Butte Railroad Vision From Boise Correspondent
Boise Idaho Aug 20 Your correspondent reports C L Miller started July 1 1891 to survey a Boise to Butte line. He finds a water grade route east to Sawtooth and notes rich ore and timber, scenic valleys, and hunting grounds. A Boise to Butte railroad would boost mining timber and garden flows and connect to the Pacific.
