Mrs. Rose A. King longtime house director at Montana State Normal College dormitories died at Barrett hospital after a two week illness. A Missouri native who lived in California, she leaves five children four grandchildren two sisters and a brother. Miss Angeline Smith dean of women at the Normal College is a sister. Thieves Raid Wisdom State Liquor Store
Thieves broke into the Wisdom state liquor store on Wednesday night last week and carried off ten cases of whisky. Sheriff McCollum was notified after the escape reportedly via a car stolen at Jackson. The Helming garage at Wisdom was also entered and a small sum taken. Earlier, two Lima locations were broken into with only minor items stolen.

Ranchers from Beaverhead Madison Silver Bow Jefferson and Broadwater counties attend the second meeting on a Taylor Grazing act project in Montana. Bakery owner injured operating dough mixer

Montana farmers cut mortgage debt as Farm Credit Administration refinanced old loans while new borrowing remained small. Nationally debts shrank from 1910 levels to 1935 with foreclosures and repayments. Montana saw $6.263 million refinancings and interest rate relief boosting farmer finances.
