Good Roads Booster Comments From Dillon Residents
Mr and Mrs George Clemow of the Big Hole basin visited Dillon on Tuesday and reported a better hay crop than last year. He noted a very good yield from one of his wanches and praised his purebred Herefords for their excellent condition. He predicted that once the Dillon to Jackson and Wisdom highway is finished and linked to Bitterroot trail, most cattle and sheep would be trucked out of the valley. He cited a trip east where he learned of a double truckload of fat lambs shipped 602 miles in 28 hours to Omaha in prime condition.
