The Oregon Short Line depot and improvements bid by Frank P. Birrer of Dillon was not awarded to him. J P Congdon of the Oregon Short Line informed Birrer that Campbell Construction Co of Salt Lake City was the lowest bidder and the depot contract let to them. No start date is set and some doubt a 1908 start. The report notes cool weather with a thermometer at 45 degrees.
