Truax Collett Case Apparently Settled
Harvey Truax, a Dillon barber, died from a gunshot Friday night. Miss Eva Collett, his companion, was dismissed after a hearing with no charges. She later attempted suicide by taking lysol but survived. Her warrant resulted in acquittal and she left for Denver with family.

McFarland Baby Born in Monrovia
Word from Dillon reports the birth of a daughter on Wednesday July 27 to Mr and Mrs George McFarland in Monrovia California. This is their second child with an elder sister. Mrs McFarland, formerly Miss Florence Smith, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Elza Smith of this city.

Esteemed Dell Matron Called to Last Reward
Mrs. Mary Martha Patterson wife of G V Patterson rancher of Sheep creek basin died at Barrett hospital after a brief illness from blood poisoning. She was 39 born in Sidney Nebraska came to Beaverhead county at 13 and lived on a Dell area ranch. Survived by husband seven children three brothers and one sister funeral held in Lima with interment there. George Hopkins traveled to Pomona California with his wife and family visiting relatives there.
