The University of Montana allocates 874,940 for the coming fiscal year across units including University 356,100 College 204,000 School of Mines 41,300 Normal college 76,600 and various stations and labs plus grants. Injured at Sawmill Affects Local Player George Lasich
George Lasich, a well known local youth, was seriously injured last Sunday at the Birrer Lasich sawmill near Sheridan while cutting a special lumber order. His right hand contacted the saw, forcing amputation of his thumb and forefinger. He was rushed to Murray hospital in Butte for surgery after a dangerous loss of blood.

Climer Convicted of Manslaughter in Casper
Hugh Climer was found guilty of manslaughter by a district court jury for the Oct 12 1925 killing of his wife Maddy. The jury retired five hours before delivering the verdict. Judge Cromer ordered Climer held for sentencing as the case proceeds.

Women Disturbers Fined for Public Disturbance
Two women named Jennie Doe and Mary Doe were fined ten pounds each after pleading guilty to creating a disturbance in a public place. They were arrested the night before by Undersheriff Frank Kellum in Lad Saturday justice court.
