Old-time Dillon resident E. B. Sabin dies after long illness
E B Sabin a Montana freighter and early settler died at his daughter Marietta Smiths home after a long illness. Born Salt Lake City November 27 1847 he freighted between Corinne Utah and Montana before settling in Beaverhead county. He moved to Dillon in 1906 and lived there until two years ago when he relocated to Hamilton.

Last Monday's city election across four wards produced about 50 votes with only one contest a 5 to 5 tie between Elmo Winn and Albert Featherly in the second ward.
