Local Social Roundup From Dillon to Idaho Falls
Mrs Kurt Raddatz and daughter Marilyn joined Mr Ken Koho in Dillon where Koho received medical attention. Many locals visited Dillon on Monday for business while flood control training and watershed management discussions continued. A newborn Phyllis Ann was named after a grandmother amid news from Colorado Springs.

Lima Community Notes Touch On Parties and Travels
Local Lima column highlights church events, dances, and Sunday services. Families from Butte Rexburg and Dillon visit relatives, while residents attend meetings, school enrollments, and demonstrations. A beaverhead county death disrupts the community as others travel for work and education.
Reeder Pioneer of Dillon Ties and Wagons
Charles Y. Reeder, early Dillon founder and noted horseman, recalled for hauling the first load of machinery for the Alice mine and the first wagonload of apples to Helena. He arrived in Virginia City in 1864 by driving a four-horse team, later joining a party to Silver Bow county and remarking on Warren Toole’s character. The clipping mixes reminiscences of 19th century travel and pioneer commerce with notes on cottonseed meal processing for ewe lambs.
