Trained Teachers in Demand in Montana Public Schools
Montana faces a shortage of professionally trained teachers despite rising demand. State Normal College graduates now teach in nearly every county, with monthly requests flooding the college from superintendents and Dr. Bagley. Although 25 to 30 graduates are produced yearly, demand far outstrips supply and likely will for years.
