The Normal college starts its fall term on September 25 with all positions in the college and training school filled by well qualified staff. Miss Genevieve Albertson continues as sponsor of student publications and Mary Baker Emerick remains in the art department part time. Beaverhead County Tax Deed Sale Clears Riverside Lots
Beaverhead County property acquired by tax deed was auctioned at the courthouse last Thursday by order of the county board of commissioners. The sale totaled 6 612.02 dollars including redemptions and drew many bidders. The board had appraised lands in August and will continue the sale indefinitely with bids accepted anytime at 90 percent of the appraised value.

Dillon Ski Club plans big season and Elkhorn improvements
The Dillon Ski club opened its season at City Hall and outlined a winter program to improve Elkhorn Springs with a longer slide and a new ski tow. A 50 yard additional run is planned with a tow, and Elkhorn lodge staffing will provide meals and rooms. An executive board slate was named by Elmo Winn for election on Oct. 19.
