Dillon Airport Ready for Regular Air Mail Stop
Fred Woodside last week completed Dillon's new airport work. The field five miles south of Dillon has a 3600 by 1000 foot runway and is cleared, leveled, and ready. Citizens seek official government sanction to be an air mail stop on the Great Falls Salt Lake route with support from National Parks Airways. Beacon lights will be installed and the field will serve as an official landing field this winter.

Beaverhead Women’s Clubs Hold Annual Divided Meeting
Beaverhead Federation of Women’s Clubs met last Saturday at the home of Mr and Mrs Wood near Divide to hear Wise River club entertain a crowd of about 76 attending from long distances. Mrs W S Higgins of Butte spoke on landscape gardening and flower arrangement with demonstrations. Laura Tolman Scott of Armstead and Beaverhead County club woman also gave talks. The funeral of the late Miss Marty Yoe was held at Grace Methodist church with Rev. Howard B. Ricketts officiating. Interment followed at Mountain View cemetery.
