Manual Training Shop Receives Equipment at State Normal College
Prof J R Forden director of manual area at the State Normal College reports arrival of most manual training gear ordered in August. The shipment includes 20 Orr & Lockett benches with Toll rapid acting vises and complete woodworking tool outfits. The shop is temporarily in the old Dormitory dining room offering adequate space for current needs. Manual training is expected to grow popular and do excellent work.

County contracts set by Heaverhead board in special session
Heaverhead county commissioners met in special session October 10 1905 to award contracts for the poor farm barn and wards to A McDonald at 2703 dollars after adjustments. The jail at Wisdom awarded to C J McSherry for 450 dollars. Fence bids at Glen and Wisdom were discussed with caps and rejections. The treasurer was ordered to call in warrants and transfer funds, and the meeting adjourned.
