McGivern Family to Exhibit at County Fair
The well known McGivern family will appear again at the county fair following a Fourth of July exhibition. They will be joined by moving picture footage of Topperwein of San Antonio and will demonstrate rifle pistol and shotgun work with notable skill. Ed Madge and Bob McGivern head a family of marksmen known for small target shooting and high accuracy.

The September bulletin reports 19 of 52 soft drink samples made in Montana illegal for purity with several misbranding and excessive colorings including saccharine. A carload of tainted poultry was condemned in Butte and burned. The stork recorded 18 births in Helena county and 14 boys 8 girls city births. total births 31. August deaths totaled 4100 with rates rising to 1.04 per 1000 and leading causes listed. Violence claimed 57 Montana victims. heart disease 32, tuberculosis 29, pneumonia 19.
