Beaverhead Woman Dies at Ranch Home
Mrs. Claus Anderson a 53 year old Swedish native and Beaverhead County ranch matron died at her Dillon area home after a long illness. Survived by husband and two sons Carl and Oscar Anderson all of the community. Funeral services were held Saturday at the First Lutheran church with Rev. A W Nelson officiating. Interment in Mountain View cemetery.

Illness of Brief Time Fatal to Dillon Rancher George Edinger
George Edinger a prominent Dillon rancher died early yesterday at his Thomson avenue home after a brief illness. He was 68, born September 29 1868 in Boongrove Indiana. Edinger arrived in Dillon in the 1880s shortly after the city was founded and was well known to local residents.

Weather instruments that once measured Dillon’s temperatures and precipitation for 80 years have been moved to Normal college campus as a memorial to the late Joseph E. Monroe. W E Maughan of the state weather bureau approved the transfer from the Monroe home. The Dillon Business and Professional Women’s club sponsored the project with Mayme Allen and Reana M. Halli on the committee. President Sheldon E. Davis approved installation and Prof J F McBain will attend the instruments. A bronze plaque will be added to the housing framework.

Six Hundred Rams to Be Auctioned at Beaver Sale
The Beaver head ram sale lists 600 head to be sold next Wednesday Oct 14 in the stock pavilion at the fair grounds. Enrollment Drop At Montana College For Autumn Quarter
