Billy Mitchell Frontier Legend Of Livingston Hotel Builder
The Livingston pioneer Billy Mitchell who built the town's first hotel is recalled for early frontier feats. A veteran of Captain Marsh's Far West crew, he helped transport wounded from the Little Big Horn and later worked as a woodcutter supplying Lewis and Clark era steamboats. He died at 84 after a fall, leaving a legacy of frontier lore and quiet honesty.
