Two local groups plan immediate measures including temporary basement dwellings and attractive permanent quonset homes with ready heating and plumbing. A Dubois Idaho plant is ramping up sealed log unit production to meet working-class budgets within two months.

Alumni Radio Program Marks 50th Anniversary

Dillon eighth graders to graduate in school ceremony
Eighth grade graduates of the Dillon public school will receive diplomas tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Bagley school auditorium. The class of 39 will be presented by Supt. O. K. Moe and diplomas awarded by A. F. Waldorf. The program includes music, an invocation, an address by Dr. Sheldon E. Davis, awards for attendance and punctuality, and a class presentation. The Dillon public school orchestra and soloists performed at the Bagley school auditorium under director L A Gregory with assistant Maxine Beck M S N C student. Accompanists were Maxine Beck and Kathryn Cardinale. A large crowd attended and afterward Mr and Mrs Gregory hosted refreshments.

Bridwell 80 Dies in Denver After Long Reach
R T Bridwell 80 former Horse Prairie resident died last Friday in Denver Colorado. His nephew Dale Metlen attended the funeral held Monday. Born Bourbon County Kentucky in 1867 he lived many years at the Metlen ranch. He broke a leg on a Denver visit last November and did not fully recover. Survived by son Stark in Denver a daughter in Pas Kentucky and several grandchildren.

Albert F. Bert Selway 74 life long Beaverhead county resident died Monday after weeks of illness in Murray hospital. Survived by wife Ada son Walter daughter and son in law Elmer Peterson. funeral Thursday May 29 at St James Episcopal Dillon. He was born December 29 1872 and long a noted rancher in the area.
