Redrock Survey Abandoned By Helena Backers
James Glass of Helena and Col Alf Decker of Redrock halted plans for a Redrock reservoir and canal after a discouraging survey. Engineers Metlen and Helmick reported a fifty five mile east side line with heavy expense and risky terrain or costly flumes and major rock work. Water flow at the proposed dam site was minimal, leading to the decision not to pursue the project.
