Sheepmen concede the Aptheyon wool clip from central Washington to be among the best, with line weights around pounds per unit and a price near 86 percent of the standard, reflecting strong market acceptance by Portland firms.
Dilemont Park opened last Saturday evening as a summer resort with a large dance under the VFW auspices. Baxter Tonney orchestra provided music and Roy Jackson will run the park for the season. Beaverhead DeMolay plans a Cotillion at the City Hall auditorium next Friday.
Residents visiting Dillon include Joe Browne from a big Browne ranch, Chas Carlson and son from the Salmon country, R B Vallentine from Lima, Jorgen Jorgenson from Wisdom, L E Brainard from Lima, C W Stallings from Bannack, H A Stone of Hecla Mines, John Anderson, Ed Knox serving on the jury, Win Climer from Armstead, and Ed Lloyd from Butte. The Legion Auxiliary plans poppy sales to aid a Fort Harrison recreation hall for disabled soldiers. Other items note Masons and Daughters of the Nile in Butte, and the Dillon Delphian society meeting for officer elections.

A sheriff sale is set for June 12 1924 at 2 PM at the Dillon Court House to sell 160 acres described by sections and township with cash terms. Dated May 15 1924 Sheriff D F Mooney deputy A C Gruwell. Mrs. William Clifford of Hepworth Ontario died at her home on May 12. She formerly lived in Dillon and left the town about twenty years ago.
