A spring class of nineteen will graduate from Beaverhead County High School. J T Ross leads as class president with Celesta Young as secretary. Automobile Turns Turtle On Soft Road Near Town
Bud McGrath Patsy Odi and J Burt escaped serious injury when a Ford car struck a cut bank and rolled over Sunday evening. McGrath and Burt suffered severe bruises and cuts while Odi lies hospitalized at Curtisee with crushed side and five broken ribs. They had just left the Buffet and were traveling north when they tried to pass a slower car on a soft sandy road near the creamery.

Passes Away Sunday Night Mother of Six Children
Mrs. Mary L. Stevens died last Sunday evening at Curtis Hospital after a week of illness. The Beaverhead County resident, born in Missouri forty years ago, was the daughter of James Lennox and wife of Joe Stevens. Funeral Tuesday from St. Rose Church with burial at Mountain View Cemetery. she leaves six children, her parents, four sisters, and two brothers.

Prairie Fire North of Town Triggers Alarm
A prairie fire seven miles north of town caused alarm on country roads last Sunday evening. Residents saw a large blaze from hills above the city as several acres of greasewood burned rapidly, lighting up the sky.
