Elkhorn District Seen as Future Copper Big Producer
W F Cobban of Park Copper says Elkhorn district shows strong development with new companies and expanding work at the Park mine. Crews advance crosscuts at 200 foot level of the double shaft while the baby vein widens from 8 to 20 feet at 80 feet. Plans call for a tunnel to tap the vein at about 1,500 feet and expected ore production by late June with ore sent to Polaris for treatment.

In accordance with annual custom the uniformed commandery of St Elmo will worship as a body at the Presbyterian church for Ascension Day services next Sunday at 11 o'clock.
