Harold Snow was elected president of the Dillon Rotary Club at a board meeting announced at the Monday night club session at the Andrus hotel. Dr. Robert E. Albright became vice-president and Thomas E. Gilbert was re elected as secretary and treasurer. Beaverd ead high track squad finished second at the district meet in Whitehall on Saturday, edging Sheridan. Whitehall won. Cashmore led Beavers with wins in high jump and discus and a third in shot put. Bob Lee took first in javelin and second in discus. Don Wheat second in shot put and 880 yards. Regulations on fishing mailed out for 1936 season
Montana fish and game warden K F Mac Donald issued the 1936 fishing rules. The season opens May 21 with a 20 pounds and one fish or 26 fish limit, and bans salmon eggs as bait. Beaverhead and Madison counties impose year long river and stream closures including the Big Hole river dam areas and Armstead to Beaverhead river streams.

A two year old girl Darlene Gleason daughter of Mr and Mrs Leon Gleason drowned at noon Monday after falling into an irrigation ditch near Shady. A searching party found the body within minutes of the child's disappearance.

A Dillon Baptist delegation led by Reverend Willis Logg attended the state church conference in Lewistown this week. At the prior church dinner last Wednesday, Amos Wright was elected deacon for three years and Mrs. Robert Frakes was chosen deaconess for three years, with Dy Sart Gowen, Sally Baker, and Frank Wright as trustees. Earl L. Fairbanks was named treasurer and Amos Wright financial secretary. Cameron Gowen was elected Sunday school superintendent. William Cummings became chief usher.
