Dies at Bozeman after brief illness
Charles L. Hansen former Bozeman resident and former agricultural agent and bookkeeper died at his home after a short illness of influenza aged 35. He was born near here, attended county high school, graduated from Montana Agricultural College in 1914, worked for the agronomy department, Missoula agricultural agent, Bozeman Courier staff, and Montana college assistant agronomist. He is survived by his wife Pear Orton a baby daughter his mother Mrs Abbie Hansen two brothers one in New Jersey and two sisters in South Pasadena.

About 700 head of stock cattle and bulls moved through the Dillon Horse Sales yard with private deals bringing totals to around 1 000 head and a revenue near 100000 dollars. George Ditty netted the day’s top sale with 250 head going to Dodd and Bray of Centennial valley, while buyers included Oliver of Anaconda and Nebeker of Bear Lake Utah. At a Monday cattle sale J A Morse donated a Hampshire sheep which netted 85 dollars after Denton Oliver bid it in.
