Auction At Diamond O Ranch Fetches Thirty Thousand Dollars

Lima Ditch Construction Contract Awarded
The Lima Ditch company awarded a $69,000 contract to J. H. Youngken for a 1944 mile irrigation canal in the south end. Completion by May 1, 1920 is planned to irrigate Lima and Dell areas, reclaim about 16 000 acres, with water sourced from the Lima dam and routed via Luna tion Creek to Big Sheep Creek. Youngken will begin within 30 days with two steam shovel crews en route to Lima.

Infant Bernice Osborne Dies at 14 Days
The infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Fred Osborne died Monday morning from a complication of diseases. She was 14 days old. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the family home on Kentucky avenue conducted by Rev H G Humphrey of the Methodist church and interment followed at Mountain View cemetery.
