Sheepmen Delay Shearing In Southern Montana

Wet weather has delayed shearing across Southern Montana with crews just starting and little progress. Sheepmen plan to shear in June then move to ranges, but range time is later than usual and lambing was poor due to cold wet conditions. Judge Brantley will deliver the presentation speech for a set kept in the capitol vault, likely to be sent to Norfolk, Virginia, though prospects to travel to Great Falls or Helena exist and many eastern Montanans are expected to attend.
