Contempt Rulings In Water Rights Case At District Court
Judge Lew L. Callaway convened a special session to hear contempt matters on Blacktail and Medicine Lodge creeks water rights. Poindexter & Orr Livestock Co was cleared of contempt for following the 1888 decree, while Jules Guyaz was found guilty of contempt for Medicine Lodge creek violation and fined $20 with warning.

Prof. Kari Riedelsberger presented a recital at the Indianapolis Opera House on Monday evening June 19. Critics praised his beautiful full tone in Sarasate Song of the Nightingale and Saint Saens Swan Song and commended his technique and passion in Hubay Devels Dance with individual interpretation. William J Crowell and Miss Millie Coffin were married at the Kirkpatrick home on Washington Street Dillon in a 3 30 p m ceremony. Rev R P Smith of Helena officiated with Alma Thorpe as bridesmaid Fidel Huber best man. The home was decorated with roses and carnations. a wedding supper followed. The couple will honeymoon then settle at Crowell Sheep Creek basin ranch. Crowell, once a Dillon grocer and rancher, is a noted local businessman and sheepman. Coffin, longtime educator in Butte and former county superintendent, is revered for her teaching and public school service. The Examiner joins friends in wishing them lasting happiness.
