Beaverhead County High School Honors Seven Graduates
The Beaverhead County High School held its fifth commencement with Class of 1905 graduates, seven students from Beaverhead county. Four members from the Scientific course and two from Classical, plus one Commercial graduate, were celebrated with a class play The Sweet Girl Graduates and a formal Friday commencement at the Dillon Theatre.

Children Observe Day at Presbyterian Church Next Sunday
The Presbyterian church will observe Children’s Day next Sunday with morning worship and an evening program. The evening features include choruses, prayers, scripture readings, offertory, recitations, dialogues such as Why Not and The Blossom Band, and performances by Miss Tattersall’s and Miss Featherly’s classes plus the Amateur Glee Club and Ruth Knotts. Mr and Mrs R Z Cozad of Taylor Creek are visiting town this week.

County Health Board Meeting Reports Contagious Disease Status
Beaverhead county health board met at the courthouse as required, with Chairman W M Oliver, D D McKnight and Dr F M Poindexter present. Poindexter reported no contagious diseases aside from measles, one smallpox in six months, seven scarlet fever cases with one death, all confined to the originating household under strict quarantine.

Reserve Inspector Checks Forest Reserve Plan Near Dillon
R. B. Wilson of the National Bureau of Forestry visited last week to inspect the Ruby forest reserve, created and withdrawn from entry last year. The reserve, mainly in Madigan county with parts east of Dillon, arouses ranchers and sheepmen who fear loss of land use. Wilson’s review aims to hear all views and report to Gifford Pinchot. a negative finding could reopen the area.
