Concert at Normal Assembly for Eighth Grade Students
On Friday June 14 at eight o'clock the public school eighth graders perform a program in the Normal auditorium. The program includes choruses, readings from Abraham Lincoln, selections from Julius Caesar, a violin duet, and more with titled pieces and student performers. Also invited are attendees to the First Presbyterian Church Dillon service on Sunday June 16 at 11:00 am featuring music, exercises, a sermon, and a Children's Baptismal Service.

Butte Chamber Trade Excursion To Dillon Sunday Morning
The Butte chamber of commerce tour arrives in Dillon next Sunday at 9 30 for two hours. The eleven car train and the Boston and Montana band will perform an open air concert. The trip covers 1381 miles visiting 22 towns including Armstead Leadore Gilmore Salmon City Monida Lima Dell Melrose and Divide.

College summer session opens to promising enrollment
The State Normal College began its summer quarter Monday with about sixty one students enrolled, more than last year as many instructors are delayed by late school closings. Twenty two counties are represented led by Beaverhead Cascade Carbon Sweetgrass and Yellowstone. Notable names include Wm R Wyatt Erna Hearn Lucile Hartman Agnes Sullivan Walkerville Laura La Valley Edna Easter and many others across Montana. The program offers six week courses in agriculture domestic science drawing manual training physical culture playground work and music with enhanced credit work and a continuous session system under Prof. M H Hoffman and Miss Edith McDowell. The model school provides observation in three departments with critic teachers and supervision by Addie E Bettes.

Beaverhead River Floods Raise Water Levels
The Beaverhead river has risen beyond flood levels not seen since four years ago. Banks overflowed and bottom lands flooded while residents along the river remain largely safe except for washed garden track. A crew removed drift wood near the river bridge when C. W. Scntt slipped and fell into the current but reclaimed the bank.

Dillon couples wed in quiet Methodist parsonage ceremonies
Miss Nellie Mitchell and Mr. Will Stahl married at eight thirty Saturday evening in Dillon with Rev. Jesse Lacklen officiating. The bride is daughter of E. H. Mitchell, the groom a Dillon post office carrier. They plan to reside in Dillon. Also Miss Jessie Paterson and Mr. Claude Downing wed at five in the Dell vicinity and will make their home there after traveling by evening train.
