The new model uniform will not be issued to enlisted men until the accumulated stock of old style uniforms is exhausted. At present 400,000 of these uniforms are in the arsenals. Officers will probably order the new models from their tailors as soon as the order comes out.
Helena Wool Price Push Near Half Dollar Market Update
Helena wool buyers led by C. E. Martin of Great Falls and William Rae Jr. of Billings purchased top lots for Crimmons & Pierce and Rae respectively. About 5,1000 fleeces were bought in the Munden and O'Connell deal with other noted consignors selling many thousands more. A large volume remains unpurchased at Chinook Glasgow and the region reports little wool left around Helena as traders leave the area.
