The North Montana State Fair and Rodeo in Great Falls runs Aug 3 to 8 with an ambitious program. Dan Thurber oversees a six day schedule featuring entertainment and exhibits, a robust rodeo, and a large cast including Willie West and McGinty, the Monroe Brothers, Irene Vermillion, and numerous acts. The event promises a busy arena with eight daily races and new exhibits such as a military display, a western Old Town show, wildlife and sheep breeding displays, plus a grand finale of fireworks.
