Tragic Fourth of July Death At Bowhanan Bar Placer
Fred C Schlegmilch a Lemhi county superintendent from Boston died after a revolver accident during a dance at Bowhanan Bar Placer Mining company. The inquest in Salmon found accidental discharge caused his death. the unnamed secretary was exonerated and released. The body was sent to Boston for burial.
