The Eagle predicts Dillon’s Fourth will be the biggest celebration in its history with a full, high quality sports lineup. A special train from Butte arrives at 10 30 a m and four main events lead the day the ball game horse races wrestling and a 100 yard dash. The new Dillon band under Leader Wilson will provide daytime music and promises steady on schedule performances.

In Dillon a self styled Dr Lewis D Conde claimed army medical ties and a medical practice. Deputy Sheriff Ralph Richards arrested him as Dr Herbert Maillette of Oregon Short Line train, who denied identity and then was identified as Otto Bramie, a 90 day vagrant and former private detective.
