Water Works Bond Issue Sparks City Debate
Local discussion centers on a $65,000 water works bond vote in coming weeks. The article notes that the $24,000 prior issue would be nullified if the new bond passes, with market price not below par. It argues the entire $65,000 would fund installation and meet demand even if population doubles in 5 to 10 years. Mrs. James Conger and family are visiting in Butte.
