Annual Spring Style Show Planned at Beaverhead High
Jaycee Jayceen plan the annual style show for Friday March 16 at Beaverhead County high school gym. Jayceen president Wilma McCart will announce committee appointments at the Jan 24 meeting at Mrs. Kenny Morrison's home. Proceeds help City Park improvements. last year net was 388 dollars with 162 from Jayceens boosting playground funds to 500. Equipment installed June 5 included a slide swings teeter totters and a giant stride.

Presbyterian Synod Council Meets in Jackson Montana
The Presbyterian Synod Council of Montana met for two days at the Diamond Bar Inn in Jackson to plan the June Synod gathering in Billings. Attending were officers from Billings Bozeman Victor Missoula Butte Forsyth Deer Lodge Anaconda Wise River and others plus accompanying spouses. Return from California and local social events filled the remainder of the week.

Williams Named High Priest of Butte Shrine Temple
Bernard Williams of Dillon was elected high priest and prophet of Bagdad Temple during the Shrine meeting in Butte last Wednesday evening. Robert F Jorgensen of Great Falls became potentate after the election and appointment of officers. Andrew R Sims, potentate in 1940, conducted the installation ceremonies followed by a luncheon in the temple dining hall.

IRS Allows Final Tax Return In Place Of January 16 Estimated Payment
The IRS issued a statement permitting taxpayers to file Form 1040 by January 31 to settle the 1955 balance instead of the January 16 estimated tax payment. This relief applies to those not required to declare in 1955 or who must file amended or final declarations by January 16 1956, with the final tax balance paid with the return. Farmers have until February 15.
