Dillon and Butte investors join, with Shen non estate and others holding patented claims. A new Blue Wing Kent Mining Co is formed to fund further work including a 950 ft tunnel and pumping. Monroe Mann leases five claims adjoining the Kent group for 50000 to W T Taylor and George B Conway. new ore bodies reported and work to start immediately.

Idaho man attempts suicide in Dillon saloon
Charles H. H. Spade of Shoup Idaho made an unsuccessful attempt at self harm in Dillon on a Sunday night. He suffered throat wounds wrists cuts and chest stabs but is not believed to be fatally injured. Spade, a Lemhi County resident and former county commissioner, was drinking heavily after a domestic dispute and was removed to a lodging house then jailed after becoming violent.
