Rancher of Grasshopper Valley Dies After Illness
John Kruger, noted Grasshopper valley rancher born in Germany February 4, 1860, died last Wednesday at Barrett hospital after a lingering illness. Survived by three daughters Mrs Hignight Dillon Mrs Shurer Butte and Mrs Dittman Glenwood City Wisconsin and three sons Carl Adolph and William Pahnish. Funeral held Saturday at Grace Methodist Episcopal church.

The Little Symphony orchestra of the Montana State Normal College directed by Frances Robinson will present its fifth annual concert at the college auditorium Monday evening. The Women's Glee Club and Marguerite Collins provide accompaniment and soloist duties. Public School to Present Program Tomorrow Night
The Upper grades of the training school will stage a public program at 7 30 Thursday evening in the old training school auditorium. Admission is free. The show features eight declamations from fifth to eighth graders with four finalists for the county contest, all on themes from The Flag of the United States Its History and Symbolism. Funeral for Former Beaverhead Official Held in Dillon
The funeral of the late W. B. Stephenson, former Beaverhead county official, was held last Thursday afternoon from the Masonic temple with Rev. J. A. Meeke of Grace Methodist Episcopal Church officiating. Interment followed at Mountain View cemetery. Aged Melrose matron Elizabeth Boetticher dies at 96
Mrs. Elizabeth Boetticher longtime Melrose resident and pioneer of southern Montana dies at her son Otto's home in Melrose at age 96. Born in 1839 in Germany she moved to the United States at eight and later lived in Glendale before settling Melrose. She survived by a son and daughter, 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. The funeral was held in Melrose with Reverend Groeneveld officiating. Meanwhile Cash Meat Market opens in new South Idaho Street quarters with open house next Saturday and free sandwiches and coffee. New refrigeration and hydrating vegetable displays are highlighted.
