Presi dent and Mrs. Joseph E Monroe hosted a Valentine party for faculty members the wives of married men and others with field event games and decorations in red and pink. Dr Finch announced events while trophies were awarded to Miss Henry Miss Wemyss and Prof Light.

Helena nuptials join Miss Moreau and Mr Clayton Schuler
Miss Sarah Moreau of Helena wed Clayton Schuler last Thursday afternoon at the bride’s parents home with Rev. Donaldson of St. Paul’s church officiating. Attendants included Nora and Mark Moreau and Beatrice Willard of Dillon. The couple honeymoon on the coast and will reside in Dillon. she was a nurse in Butte's Murray hospital before meeting the groom, a ranchman.

Dillon Kids Arrive in New York Homeward Bound
Beaverhead county sent its first WWI volunteers in April 1917. Five Dillon high school boys Jesse Gray Henry Wyatt George Baker and Emmett Drummey plus J T Ross arrived in New York and will soon return home. These youths who enlisted at war’s start served over a year in France without complaint or injury. The community will welcome them back with a hearty reception. one of the 35 who left Dillon died after enlisting.

Colonial supper served by church ladies next Saturday
The Baptist church ladies will host a colonial supper at the church next Saturday evening for 75 cents. Everyone is invited. The St James guild will meet Thursday with Mrs C P Thomas. The YWCA Carry On campaign runs in Dillon February 24 to 28 with motto Invest in the Girls of Today dividends paid in the National Life of Tomorrow.
