Four Million Acres to Be Removed From Forest Reserves
Washington reports a plan approved by President Taft to reclassify forest lands and restore over 4,000,000 acres to the public domain for homestead settlement. Much of the land is grazing or dry farming countryside, with Idaho set to lose 470,000 acres. The move aims to better delineate forest boundaries and place nonforest lands to profitable use. FOR SALE A small cottage, in good location. For particulars call at Examiner office.
