Bozeman basketball fans expect a strong contest as the local high school meets the fast team from Gallatin county at the high school gym next Saturday evening. A return game with Butte city high is being lined up later this month and a special train to Butte may run.
A Dillon reader recalls a boy scout incident where a newsboy refused a dime tip, saying he could not take tips as a scout. The exchange illustrates the positive impact of the boy scout movement on the community and its lessons for both boy and man.

She killed her husband with an axe at Bannack last spring and was found not guilty by reason of insanity after a murder trial. She has lived at the Big Hole basin with family. now jailed. Real estate dealer C. L. Worth sells the Jacob Hertel ranch on the beach east of Dillon to George Tamer. The six mile distant property is a premier dry farm with a strong grain yield. Jens Jensen a Dillon resident died at Curtis hospital following spinal surgery. He had suffered rheumatism for years, briefly recovered last summer, then declined. The 36 year old born in Denmark came to the United States ten years ago, worked as a rancher and a teamster. He leaves a wife and two children. Funeral at St James Episcopal church tomorrow with burial in Mountain View cemetery.

The Bannack and Montana street store interior is renovated with partitions cutting off the real estate office and cigar stand from the lobby.
The board of Beaverhead County commissioners led by Theodore Nelson D D McKnight and J H Shaw left for Melrose to inspect a road segment near the Beaverhead county line. They planned to return to Dillon this evening.
