Beaverhead County Board adopts per capita tax for indigent care
The Beaverhead County Commissioners fix a $2 per capita tax on residents ages 21 to 60 to fund hospitals and aid to the indigent sick. They approve a bridge budget transfer of 1745 dollars and hear requests from local officials and clubs. The board also reviews welfare cases and approves numerous county expenditures including sheriffs, salaries, and public works costs.
