Jay S. Baker, clerk of the local examining board, begins sending questionnaires to all registered men in Beaverhead county. Attorneys in Dillon offer daily legal aid from nine to five in the courthouse as the numbered groups 1 to 137, 138 to 241, 242 to 300, and 301 to 361 receive forms. From Thursday on, about sixty questionnaires will be mailed daily until January 9 for those with numbers 1261 and up.

Pair Arrested for Malicious Mischief After Wedding Fight
Upon complaint of Tony Krulyjac, Joe Rebich and Mark Markovich were arrested last Monday. The men are accused of mutilating a new automobile tire on the plaintiff's car. The trio, members of the Austrian colony, attended a wedding at Joe Batala's home the prior Sunday where the incident occurred.

Tate Found Guilty of Criminal Assault
D. E. Tate was found guilty of criminal assault on 13 year old Eva Haggerty of Birch Creek and sentenced Friday to two to four years in state prison. The district court had sat since November 5 before adjourning.

Crowell Killed In Sheep Creek Basin Accident
Walter J. Crowell prominent Dillon sheepman died Friday near Dell when his wagon tipped after the lead team bolted. The body was found along the road and due to head injury suffocation was suspected. Funeral held Monday at the Methodist church in Dillon with burial at Mountain View. He was 67, born in Omaha and survived by wife Millie Coffin, a sister and two brothers.

Man Accused of Forging Checks Charged
Henry Brizeell was arrested by Sheriff Wyman on forgery charges for cashing three bad checks at three stores. The checks totaled 42 dollars drawn on First National Bank with two signed as Paul Emmett and one as Henry C Emmett. Brizeell admitted no denial and said he had just arrived from Idaho Falls and needed funds.

Young Austrian girl dies of scarlet fever
Rose Todovich, seven years eleven months old, died Monday at the Todovich ranch on Rock Creek from scarlet fever. Hiram Brundage prepared the remains and brought them to Dillon for interment this morning. Elmer Matrinell was among Dell residents at the Crowell funeral in Dillon Monday.
