Commencement exercises for Montana State Normal College autumn graduates were held in the college auditorium this morning. Eleven seniors received diplomas. the group forms the first division of the 1931 class. John Collins, Dillon attorney, delivered the address. Rev. H. N. Tragitt of St James Episcopal church gave the invocation and benediction.

Aged Beaverhead Resident Paddy Flynn Dies at 80
Paddy Flynn aged Beaverhead county resident died Sunday evening at the county farm after a lingering illness. He came to the area about ten years ago and was 80. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon from Brundage chapel with Rev. F X Lechner of Rose Catholic church officiating.

Outdoor turkey shoot planned near Dillon if weather allows

Beavers Name Lloyd English II Captain at Banquet
Lloyd English II was elected captain of Beaverhead County High School’s 1931 football squad at a Country Inn banquet Sunday afternoon. The blonde tornado started at end for the Beavers this season and is expected to be a key performer next year. Twenty seven guests attended the banquet including the squad, Coach Brick Breeden, and Dale Medsker. four gave talks as a turkey dinner was served.
