Forger Arrested As He Attempts To Pass A Check
Herman Nelson was arrested last Friday by Deputy Sheriff Wampler as he tried to pass a bad check at a local business. He had earlier attempted similar fraud in two stores. Nelson arraigned Monday in justice court with $2,000 bond. Walter Meecan fined for game law violations. companion Gene Ivie pled not guilty and faces hearing Friday. Both were arrested on Miner's Lake in the Big Hole basin by Deputy Game Warden Charles Price.
