Dillon Beats Butte Cubs 6 to 1 in quick win
Dillon defeated the Butte Cubs 6 to 1 in a steady, early lead game. Leverett struck out ten in seven innings on only two hits for Butte while Gosman allowed one hit and three strikeouts in relief. Bagley took the loss for Butte with eight innings pitched.
Bread Baking Contest at Graeter Grocery Sees Indies Win Prizes
Last Saturday 22 Indies of Dillon entered Ceretana flour loaves from Bozeman Milling in a Graeter Grocery contest. Judges Mrs. F N Foote Mrs A L Anderson and Miss Elizabeth Condit selected winners. Prizes included Ceretana flour ranging from 50 to 800 pounds for Elizabeth Smith Emma Gilbert Chas Perry Bettie Rucker Geo HK Jewell.
