James McKnight Jr a Civil War veteran born June 18 1836 in Evans Landing Indiana died recently. He served with the 73rd Illinois Infantry and later lived in Missouri before moving to Dell Montana then Beaverhead County. He is survived by three sons a brother two sisters and several grandchildren.
