A. B. Clements once cashier of the defunct Aetna bank posted appearance bonds totaling 42500 after a week in county jail on four felony charges. Sureties include C. W. Lane J H K Epright Dr R C Monahan J M Kennedy Neil McClernan Dr F H Bimrose Fire Chief Peter Sanger and Charles Holden. Bonds filed with the sheriff after Judge Donlan approved them.

Hirschman Named Justice of the Peace for Dillon Township

At the county board meeting Monday Charles Hirschman was appointed justice of the peace for Dillon township to fill a vacancy left by Z B Yearian. Josephus Rich and Yearian had been elected, but Yearian failed to assume the office. Hirschman, with prior service in the role, is praised for his judicial temperament and qualifications.

County Exhibits to Highlight Montana State Fair

County commissioners from ten counties have funded agricultural and mineral displays for the Montana State Fair, with grants ranging from 300 to 1000 dollars. Bank Sues Over Loan Secured by Law Library

John Banka sustained a serious injury while stacking hay four miles north of Dillon. As he dumped the hay net by pulling the trip rope a stay struck his side, breaking a rib and causing considerable pain.
