Beaverhead county approves slight drop in 1936 tax levy
Beaverhead county commissioners set the 1936 tax levy at 46.18 mills, down from 46.83 mills last year. The 0.65 mill decrease comes entirely from the general fund, while other county levies remain unchanged. State insurance uncertainty prevented a larger cut. The board also closed its budget and equalization sessions with all three commissioners present.
